6 Year Old Child, Had Tonsils, Taken Augmentin Dds. Rashes Over Body, Stomach Pain After 4 Days. Cause Of Pain?

my son is 6 yrs old. 15 days back he had severe throught pain and fever, doctor diagnosed tonsils and suggested Augmentin dds (5ml twice a day) and junior lanzol 15 for 10 days. He recovered but got rashes on all over body. which took 4 days to go. now he is complaing stomach ache though there is no other symptoms like constipation, loose motion. his diet is almost 40% less than normal. kindly suggest the cause and remedy of stomach pain.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
No doubt child recovered from fever, rashes and infection, but side effects still bothering.
Usually due to drugs and disease patient develops gastritis or hyper acidity hence there develops stomach pain.
In my opinion an enzymatic syrup ( an OTC product) will help.
2nd drug is esomeprazole 10 mg / day if weight of child is less than 20 kg.
Just for 5-7 days sufficient.
However repeated use of milk 20-30 ml 5-6 times in day will give great relief.
