7 Year Old, Having Cyst In Throat, Swelling. Anything To Worry?

hi dr.my son is 7 and a sonar was done today on him.they found a small cyst on his throat line and a couple of small swollen nodes on his right jaw and some of it is calcified.he is not a sick boy or complains about any pain.the swelling appeared several times behind his right ear...do I have reason to fear because I am shaky.thank you

thanks for your query at HCM
small cyst in throat , and several lymphnodes in neck region suggest that there is some infection.
swelling appearing behind ear most probably a lymph node swelling because of infection.
there is no need to panic right now.
get your son examined by ent specialist for infection of this cyst or any source of infection that is causing lymphnodal enlargemnet.
once infection or inflamation comes down swellings will regress.
