75 Year Old, Not Having Food, Not Feeling Any Taste, Losing Weight. Giving Iv Fluids.
Hello Dr, My mother ( Pedama) at the age 75 years , having problem in take food and she not interested in food that taste not there. Now Dr. are helping liquid through nose one pipe up to stomach.Self weight is reducing . All other function BP is control , No Sugar, Dr giving only Poybion B Complex , Sodium IV Fulids. Any Advice Regards Eshwar

If she is not comfortable with medicines then there is an option of cognitive behavioural therapy. It involves weekly sessions of 20 min duration in which the therapist will work on the abberant thoughts.
