8 Year Old Having Pain In The Chest After Eating. Normal Chest X-ray, Strep Test Reports. Given Milanta. History Of Heart Murmur, Tubes In Ears
Have a 8 year old who in the last 24 hours has a chief complaint that while eating any foods or drinking liquids, pain develops in chest and last for 3-4 minutes afterwards. Had a chest x-ray in ER, strep test, both negative of any findings. Was given milanta for heartburn the medicine did not improve the situation. Past illnesses and or health conditions- heart murmur , strep throat , tubes in ears.

Your child needs to be evaluated in detail with endoscopy for ulcerations and needs to be put on long term antacids. This might better his symptoms. diet modifications can be of great help.
