9 Year Old Having Low Energy, Fever And Stomach Pain.Diagnosed With Typhoid. Prescribed With Domstal, Taxim And Crocin. Need Diet Precautions
My 9 year old kid was having fever since last 5-6 days. The fever was initially high but since last 2-3 days it is constant at 99-100. He is complaining of low energy, light pain in stomach (right side lower part) and some emotional symptom (e.g. crying unnecesarily, or fear NOT always though), Sleeping early in the night then usual and sometimes the he is not feeling sleepy but still on bed with closed eyes.... doctor got him tested for Thyroid and other blood test and SGOT (AST) came 138 (IU/L) while SGPT ALT came 46 (IU/L) Doctors say Typhoid ? Is this Typhoid or liver infection are these similar in nature and do the above symptoms points to the dignosis that is done by our doctor.... ? Doc has prescribed Taxim 200, Domastal and Crocin(SOS)... is this Okay, what precautions from diet perspective should we take and how much time would it take to recover... please suggest. Thanks.
