HI Thank for asking to HCM I appreciate your concern this is term being used (T2) in scanning when they uses some contrast medium to better visualize the tissue, this over all report can be explained like---the whit matter this is part of CNS system is okay, the internal vascular system are also nice, the mastoid cell shows opacity and this is non specific, some amount of blood is not reaching in the area of micro vascular region and that causes the area dry (ischemia) hope this could be your answer have a nice day.
