I am 31 yrs of age and undergone total hysterectomy on 28 oct 2013 and also suffered post operative ileius.. till day I am passing stool 3-4 days and its deep green in color with foul smell..doc prescribed with unemzyme tab after lunch and dinner and milk of magnesia..at bed time sometimes I have pain..in abdomen. . Need to know is any thing serious
these effects canremain for some time according to my opinion as the surgery was in october and post operative illitis is there so there is chronic infection which will go slowly as time passes this can be due to surgical procedure or medicines used durin and after surgery you need to have non spicy non greesy and non oily foods plenty of fluids antacids low protein high fiber diet along with medicine for infection if your doctor suggest
