Abnormal Bleeding, Bad Odor, Itching Vulva, Pain During Sex

In the past month I had abnormal bleeding throughout the month, which was brown. It had a horrific odor. There was some itching around the vulva . I am also having pain during intercourse during initial penetration at the entry of the vagina . It seems some of the symptoms have left such as bleeding, but I still have the odor and it gets really bad during intercourse.

Hi,
Your symptoms are suggestive of infection of the vagina and also possibly the cervix. The abnormal bleeding pattern could be secondary to infection or hormonal disturbance, which may have occurred either by itself or due to the infection. Please get proper clinical assessment by a specialist, get swab tests of the cervix and the vagina and also urinalysis. Please also get a complete hormone profile if necessary. Abstain from further intercourse until you heal well. Further management can be planned based on the input. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
