Acid Reflux, Hiatal Hernia, Gastroparesis And Esophagus Spasms, On Dexilant 60 Mg, Always Throat Burp. Treatment?

A week ago, out of the blue I started to excessively throat burp. If I open my mouth no burp would come out, but once I close it, I burp up a storm, I only get maybe a minute of relief before it happens again and this is all day and night. I have acid reflux, hiatal hernia, gastroparesis and esophagus spams and I have been on dexilant 60 mg for a few years now. What could have caused this sudden excessive throat bleching and how can I get it to stop?

Dexilant 60 contains dexlansoprazole and used mainly for erosive esophagitis that is ulcer in esophagus. You have a main problem of hiatal hernia that is the a part of stomach pouching in thorax from the diaphragm that maintains it in abdomen. so the contents of stomach also regurgitate. So your treatment is antacid with a kinetic drug. I will advise rather than just taking Dexilant you should take a combination of omeprazole with domperidome (Domezol) two times with an antacid syrup like Mucaine 3 times a day before meal will surely help.
