Acne Bumps On Face, Larger Breasts, Mood Swings After Switching From Ortho Tricylen To Generess Fe. Suggest

My OBGYN switched me from Ortho-tricylen to Generess Fe 3 months ago and I have experienced a few side effects which I am not crazy about. I am wondering if the side effects will subside (i.e., little acne bumps on my face, breasts seem large (which I did not need any more help, already a D cup), extremely moody/emotional, etc. Have I given the pill long enough. Will the side effects level out?? Not sure how to proceed! DO NOT LIKE THE SIDE EFFECTS AT ALL!!

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Previously you were taking Ortho-tricylen and switched over generess ( ethinylestradiol+ norethisterone) and you developed few side effects.
Note down the side effects of norethisterone as mental depression, moods swings , insomnia, gynecomastia ( enlargement of breast ).
Similarly the side effects of ethinylestradiol are edema, hypertension, fluid retention , breast tenderness depression.
Collectively all these symptoms are causes trouble for you .
In my opinion consult your gynecologist and get his opinion as,
1 Either change the contraceptive or
2 Get an ultrasound of ovaries for any disease as PCOD because of acne & breast enlargement .
