After How Much Time Can Ears Be Repierced?

Hi, my 3-years old begged to get her ears pierced. Her Dr s office did it with a gun, and one ear is completely off (too high). I took the earring out to let it heal, but she noticed and not too happy about it. She keeps asking when we ll go back to Dr. to get it fixed (re-piereced). So, how long should we wait? Many thanks! Mary

Hello,

If you plan to have her ear pierced in a different area (lower than the one you took out) then you can go back now. It shouldn't be a problem to repierce in another location.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Lisa Baker
