Hello and welcome to HCM,
Breaks in the vulval skin can occur due to trauma,
dry skin, ulcers due to infection, etc.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical examination.
The depth of the skin fissures has to be examined.
Topical application of antibiotic ointment needs to be applied.
This will avoid infection of the superficial skin of the vulva.
Intercourse should be avoided till the time the fissures heal.
Look for similar fissures at other sites like near the
perineum.
If multiple fissues are present, other disease process like
crohns disease should be suspected.
A clinical examination is a must.
Relevant investigations and further management will be decided after clinical examination.
Thanks and take care
