After Taking Obelit Pill Experiencing Rectal Acid Burn

Hello doc, I had taken obelit pills for 5 months about two years ago, for weight loss. After this I suddenly developed rectal acid burn on consuming certain drugs and foods. It keeps settling and coming back on its own, and I know certain foods/drugs cause this, but can't say which ones for sure. When these bouts occur, I also experience acidity and gastric discomfort. I am not sure why this started, but am sure it only developed after I took obelit. Please advise on the reason and treatment. Many thanks.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is due to the obelit tablets,because such drugs act on higher centers of brain, and on the fat to be burnt.
It would have caused the gastric hyper acidity, and metabolic acidosis.secondarily there may be infection with bacteria, or amoebia.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone,ofloxacin, and ornidazole and antacid gel.
