Aged Mother Had Diarrhea And Passed Out. No Problem With CAT Scan. No Control Over Her Bowel Movement. Problem?
Hi and thank You so much for your assistance.
The other evening my 83 year old Mother became suddenly very ill. She was in the bathroom , had diahrea and suddenly passed out. Of course I called 911 and they took her right to the hospital. Did a cat scan. but came out with
no answers, don't get me wrong, I had full faith in this hospital (Eisenhower in Palm Desrt, Ca). She is very special to me...Is this common. She continued to loose control of her bowels after 911 told me to immediatley get her on her bed laying down with NO PILLOW

Hi,
It seems that this might be due to,
1, Massive myocardial infarction,
2, Might have severe dehydration due to loose motions and collapse.
As CT scan did not reveal any thing, cerebral cause is ruled out.
