Am I At Risk For Myxedema Coma After Missing Thyroid Pills?

I haven't had the ability to take my thyroid pill in a month in a half. I got my prescription filled today, and will begin taking them in the morning. Am I at risk for myxedema coma? I have hypothyroidism hashimotos disease. I am a 21 year old active female.

Hello and thank you for asking!
I would like to inform you that you shouldn't get worried. Your thyroid is in underfunction but there is still thyroid tissue remained intact and is responsible for hormonal production that ''protects'' you from coma.
The patients who have done total thyroidectomy are at high risk for mixedematous coma.
So you should restart the treatment and not get worried.
