Am I On The The Right Track To Be Completely Healed To Have A Decreased Pain After Chronical Anal Fissure?
I have had a chronic anal fissure from sometime now. My question is the pain has decreased a lot. When I look down I see a skin tag or pile. I can still feel a slight pain every now and again but it is NOTHING like it used to be. Am I on the right track to be completely healed.

Hi, anal fissures do heal after sometime, but they recur once there is a precipitating factor like constipation or infection. It is for your surgeon to examine and tell whether it has totally healed or not. It is impossible to tell by your description.
