Am Vomiting. Took Anti-nausea Med, Linguial Pill. Felt Dizzy, Nauseous, Abdominal Bloating. Recommendations?
I have been vomiting since Tuesday at 1:00 pm every five hours until Wednesday at 4:00 when I took some anti-nausea med that my neighbor called in. I couldn't keep any liquids down until i had that linguial pill. Today I felt a little better but stayed in bed all day. I feel a little dizzy from time to time, and still feel nauseous from time to time. On Tuesday Sept 7 the same thing happened by didn't last as long. I have had abdominal bloating, fatigue, low energy, water retention, loss of appetite, as a mater of fact, everything grosses me out. Thinking about food grosses me out.
After reading your post I would like to advise that you should go for a clinical examination at the earliest.
You can continue with the medicine for vomiting. Also take an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg once a day.
Also maintain your hydration. Keep drinking hydrating fluids. You can have a light diet without much oil and spices.
You should also go for following investigations :- 1. Complete Blood Count(CBC). 2. Liver Function Test(LFT). 3. Kidney Function Test(KFT). 4. Serum amylase and serum lipase.
