Ankle Injury. Iced It. Any Complications Worth Fearing?

Two days ago at the gym an iron bar that was placed inappropriately rolled onto my ankle, the instructor iced my ankle immediately and I re iced it when I got home. It is swollen and tender to touch at the moment, what do I do, should I continue icing and should I be aware of any other complications that may arise? Thank you

hello
As you have swelling at injury site and it is also tender to touch,
You should go for x-ray ankle investigation to rule out any unerlying fracture,
icing should be continue and take the analgesic / antiinflammatory drug for symptomatic relief .
If there is fracture consult to a orthopedic surgeon for plaster and further treatment.
till the investigation you should take rest
ok
take care
