My son turned his ankle severely and heard a pop. He went to the local charity hospital and was diagnosed with ankle sprain and torn ligaments. This was a week ago and now he is running a fever. He also has a steel rod in this leg due to auto accident several years ago. His calf and ankle is severely swollen and the bottom of his foot is black. I fear there could be more problems. Help?
