Anterior Shoulder Pain When Lifting Arm With Bent Elbow. Suggestions?
hello. I experiince anterior shoulder pain when lifting my arm (front) with bent elbow. I do experience some pain with other movements but I can reproduce this pain the best as I described. I also have pain sleeping on this shoulder as well (right side) I do not remember any acute event to cause this pain. I remember lifting heavier than normal wieghts a few months ago and that is when the pain started. If I press down on my shoulder in a certain area I can feel some pain- when I lift my arm while pressing in that area the pain is not as pronounced. Any ideas? thank you! A
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Old blunt injury ( due to strain of over weight) is the main cause of ligament burst over joints. The same thing happened with you. If you are weight lifter and professional than consult an orthopaedician and get in his opinion. If not than consult a physiotherapist and get in his opinion. If you can wait without any treatment for some time than you have to rest your shoulder joint for 3-6 months. Hope I have answered your question. If further any question I will reply. Get well soon.
