Anxiety And Panic Attacks. Further Management?

I need to speak to someone about anxiety and panic attacks. Every morning when I have to go to work, I am experiencing anxiety symptoms that sometimes escelate to panic attacks. These incidences subside during the afternoon that I go home and may reappear just before I go to bed at night. I am trying my best to command my brain to think positive, that there is no reason to feel like that, I am trying to breath deep and slowly and others. Still I am unable to succeed especially in the ear;y morning.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to HCM

Anxiety and panic attacks can occur in any person without any precipitating factor. The symptoms like palpitations, intense fear, fear of impending doom, tremors, sweating etc are commonly seen. If you are having such symptoms I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for expert management. Medicines like SSRIs as Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Sertaline etc are commonly used in anxiety disorder. Apart from these medicines non-medicinal treatment in form of Behavior Therapy, Relaxation Exercises are used. Hope this helps you.

Thanks
