Any Advise On Report That Shows Mild Hepatomegaly, Moderately Enlarged And Bulky Uterus With Thick And Heterogeneous Endometrium ?

Hello Doctor , I am Rajesh , Need your expert advise as my Aunty gone through some test and the report came as , 1. Mild Hepatomegaly 2. Moderately Enlarged & Bulky Uterus with Thick & hetrogenous Endometrim(29mm) Please advise , Only operation is the solution or any other alternative . Warm Regards , Rajesh

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You didn't mention your aunt's age and symptoms.
Treatment depends on symptoms, severity of problem, parity, age etc.
According to ultrasound findings :
- Hepatomegaly can be due to fatty infiltration.
In case of mild changes no need to worry.
Lifestyle modifications can help.
- Bulky uterus can be seen in parous women.
-Increased endometrial thickness is somewhat abnormal.
This can occur due to hormonal effect or due to neoplastic changes etc.
So, better to go for D&C once.
Depending on the report further management can be planned.
