Any Health Risk After Giving Glycerine For Mistaken Intake Of Volatren100 Mg Suppository?

hi Dr actually my daughter having high fever so I gave her by mistake volatren100 mg suppository as I was mistaken by the 12.5 mg so I contacted her doctor and he said to give her glycerine suppository I already did but am really worried and donnu what to do..plz help

I am so sorry to hear about this mix up with her medications. 100g of voltarene is a high dose for her but would not necessarily cause a side effect. With glycerin administered, she may easily pass a bowel movement thus reducing greatly what amount of it would be absorbed into the body. Stay calm, monitor her closely and report any abnormal symptom or observations to her doctor for immediate action.
