Any Ideas About A Bruise And Bleeding From The Finger Site Which Got Pricked And Swelled Instantly?

I was wrapping up a bundle of twist tie wrappers and one pricked my finger. upon me taking it out, it stated to bleed and INSTANLY swell. Right now it has a small bruise where I pricked myself. I believe I might have just hit a vein and now it is bleeding. what do you think?

Apply betadine lotion. get cotton swab pressed over bleeding poit till bleeding stops. Take inj tetanus toxoid .5 ccim. get proper dressing over injury.
