Any Ideas About Joint Pain, No Swelling, And Sensitivity To Finger Tips?

my mother 85yr. old W F is c/o severe pain in R hand, joints & fingers, no swelling, finger tips sensitive to touch, doesn t have full rom in any joint, nearly useless due to pain. Says moist heat and aspercream makes it worse. Any ideas or suggestions?
