just last week my period started but it was very scanty. like my period cannot pass through my vagina. it has been two weeks and my period is close to none, but whenever I pee, blood would drop into the toilet bowl. tonight I decided to take a look and noticed a pink mass that protrudes from my vagina when i bear down. i don t know what it is and it is not painful. i never had this problem before.
Please do not worry. This is most likely a cervical or endometrial polyp that is prolapsing from the vagina as it has grown big. These are non cancerous tumors of the cervix and are very common.
Other possibilities are uterovaginal prolapse, meaning the vagina is coming down along with the uterus due to lack of support, vaginal tumors or cysts, and very rarely cervical cancer [very rare considering the symptoms]
There is no need to worry as the conditions are treatable. You just need to see your gynecologist and get it examined so that future treatment can be formulated.
