Any Suggestion For Child Having Sore Red Ring Around Bum Hole?
I have a 3 year old boy who is toilet trained however wears a nappie by night He has a red ring around his bum hole which is very sore, and bleeding I have been putting Clotrimazole cream 1% on 3 times a day for passed 3 days and it seems to be making no difference any ideas what else I can do??

It seems that this ring might be due to irritation due to nappie or some local lesion like dermatitis or might be having worm infestation.
Go for stool test for ova and cyst for worm infestation.
If present give him one course of anti worm treatment like Albendazole syrup.
Apply triple acting cream on the part.
Avoid using nappie.
Keep local hygiene proper.
Ok and take care.
