Any Suggestion For Child Suffering From Wheezing When Ever He Gets Cold?

MY CHILD IS 15 MONTHS. HE HAD BRANCHORIAL PNUEMONIA WHEN HE WAS 8 MONTHS OLD. SINCE THEN WHEN EVER HE GETS COLD HE GETS WHEEZING. WE ARE GIVING HIN PENDITS 400 DAILY SINCE SEPTEMBER 13. 5 ML TRITOFEN, 1 ROMILAST 5B ,MONTAIR LC KID 5MLNUTRIHALE 5 ML DAILY. AFTER 2 MONTHS AGAIN LAST WEEK HE GOT COLD AND SEVERE WHEEZING. USING KIDPRED,AND ANTI BIOTICS NOW . What is his actual problem and is he undergoing correct treatment. IS it better to use inhalers than oral drugs. His weight now is 10 kgs.

Recurrent respiratory infections with wheezing is very common complaint in children. Treatment is right. Add some nebulization to it of ventolin and adrenalin.Seek a paediatrician for further management. Usually it is viral and it is good to stay on the safer road by getting the kid some antibiotics like ceftriaxone IV.
