Any Suggestion For Constipation, Bloating And Gas With History Of Negative Colonoscopy?
For a couple weeks now, I have had a hard time with bowel movements(constipation), feeling bloated, and gas. I eat a healthy diet, no fried foods, Cheerios for breakfast, salad for lunch, light meal for dinner. 2 cups of coffee and no more than 2 cokes a day. I'm 62 and my last colonoscopy(sp?) 4 years ago was negative. My doctor last year said it was too soon to have another. What should I do? Eat prunes?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, you need to drink lot of water and fibber diet, avoid taking coffee prior to bed, do not apply force at the time of defecation sit there for at least half an hours no matter if you do not pass the stool keep the habit of going to toilet every day at the same time even if you do not want to go, hope this information helps you, have a good day.
