Any Suggestion For Diabetic Suffering From Fatigue And Cannot Taste Most Of The Food Though Injects Insulin?

My husband has been diagnosed with diabetes. He injects himself with 30 units of insulin at night and 15 units in the
morning. He has fatigue and he cannot taste most foods. Can you suggest any new treatment for him or should we
see a specialist? He has seen an ENT for his taste problems.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

just taking a fixed dose of insulin isnt enough. how are his sugars? he has loss of taste. so chances are high he is not eating well. so obviously the insulin he was taking previously will be more than required. so if he may develop low sugars.
and hypoglycemia may cause fatigue.

i would suggest you have his sugars tested immediately
also have cbc tested
and starting on multivitamins especially vitamin b may help
