My brother is ill and having and platelets count 40 k and sgpt and sgot levels are high, having fever just thre days, fatigue and vomoting as sypmtoms what it indicates as the doctors are not yet asking for malarial parasite test / dengue test rathr asking for hepataitis B/C Testing.

Yes this scenario can occur in acute viral hepatitis, malarial infection and dengue viral infection.
But if the fever is of low degree then acute viral hepatitis will be first possibility and if fever is high then malaria or dengue infection will be the first possibility
