Any Suggestion For Having Red Circular Spot On Back Of Neck?

Hi Doctor, I noticed a red circular spot appear on the back of my neck. It turned brown overnight. I put some bactroban on just in case. It is not scaly or itchy in fact I don t feel any discomfort at all. What can this be and what do you suggest I do...should I try a cortisone based cream? Many thanks for any advice

Hi,

It seems to be an eczematous patch. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected area twice daily.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
