Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was walking on my knees (playing with my son on the floor) and I hurt the knee cap somehow. A couple of weeks later I hurt the same place again by running my knee into a desk. Now it hurts to bend it, hold my son, and walk up stairs. It hurts on the top of the knee cap. I cant stretch my leg out without it hurting!
As with the knee pain while bending I think this should be superficial trauma but then on a safer side, an x-ray is always good if by hitting the leg to a hard object has led to some hairline fracture? Meeting up and orthopedist will be good to have a physical examination.
Rest assured, with good exercise and hot water fermentation you should be back on your feet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
