Any Suggestion For Sore Throat And Cough?

I have been having sore throat and cough for over a week now. Went to 2 doctors and they prescribed me with Nospan, Lyzyme, cough syrup & telfast. But I still don t really notice any improvement. No fever but I find it really hard to sleep at night. Kept on waking every hour or so due to chesty cough. On top of that, I also mix honey and warm water in between to help soothe my throat. Anything else that you d suggest to make my cough go away soon?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that you have cough that is not getting under control in spite of taking medicines like anospan cough syrups and consulting two Doctors.
The increase on going to bed indicate that you may have post-nssal drip due to rhinitis or sinusitis.
I would advise you the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, endoscopy and other investigations like of blood, X-ray of chest and sinuses and get a proper treatment.
