Any Suggestion For Spitting Brownish Or Bloody?

Hi doc! It's been about 3 years now my spit comes out brownish or bloody. I've been to the hospital with sample, but nothing was detected. I also have done scaling, and it hasn't stopped. Please advise what else can be done to ascertain cause. Thanks

Hello ,
there is something called spurious haemoptysis which seems to be your case .Because blood in sputum for three long years is unusual. I would suggest a ENT opinion to rule out local pathology and also get a chest X ray done to rule out lung pathology. Sputum for Culture and sensitivity, cytology is also recommended.
