Any Suggestion For Stitch Knocked Loose After Mucous Cyst Removal From Lips?

I had a muscous cyst removed yesterday on the inside of my lip. Not even 24 hours and I have knocked a stitch loose when washing my face. I have about 1/4" of the stick hanging that Ineed to cut off. Will this heal properly since the stitch has come out.

Hi

Since your stitch has come off, it is very important that you should see your treating doctor as soon as possible.
Due to coming out of the stitch, the wound has seemingly gaped . This will delay the healing process and will also increase the chances of superinfection in the wound. Also cosmetically , favourable results might not be obtained if the wound is not taken care off.
So see your treating doctor and get the best possible management after assessment .
