Loss of memory I am a 25 year old Nigerian. For many months, or even a few years, I've been having a memory loss of some kind. I tend to forget what I experienced not so long ago, what was said to me, what I did or said... As a student, I even fail to remember what I read or have been taught me. I trend to forget peoples' faces, names, etc. Please I'll be very glad if you can help me out in this regard. Thank you.
Your symptoms could be related to lack of concentration or ADHD. It is very uncommon at your age to suffer from Dementia. Do you have any other symptoms like anxiety or hyperactivity and inability to concentrate? For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a psychiatrist for a careful check up and some cognitive tests. I would also recommend checking your thyroid hormone levels. A balanced diet reach in fibers and vitamins would help improve your situation. Hope you will find this answer helpful!
