Any Thoughts About The Bruise Like Mark On The Chin ?
I woke up and everything was fine. I left for school. I went to the bathroom in my first period everything was still fine. However I went to the bathroom in my 5th period, looked in the mirror and noticed a bruise like mark on my chin. It doesn't itch or hurt to the touch, that's one reason why I didn't notice it until I looked in the mirror. The surface of the skin over the bruise-like mark isn't rough or feel any different or swollen. Any thoughts?
Hi, I can understand the concern for the bruise like mark on the chin. AS the mark is present from just few hours so it is too early to give you a diagnosis.
This can be simple allergic reaction to any cosmetic or anything coming in contact with facial skin. It is quite common to find contact sensitivity due to environmental factors too such as sun light.
I advise you to not pinch or pop the area otherwise these areas are very prone for getting secondary infection. For time being period you can apply steroid based cream such as mometasone or cortisone and take antihistamine tablet such as loratadine or cetrizine.
Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem.
Take care.
