Appetite Loss, Doesn't Eat Much. What Is Wrong ?

my 27 year old son told me one day he has an appette and eats alittle then another day he doesnt have much of an appette and doesnt want to eat much at all its been like that for awhile do you think its an intestinal problem or what he isnt hungry like he should be whats wrong with him I think he should have tests ran on him please let me know I how it isnt serious

Loss of appetite may be due to many reasons,
Fever,
depression.
tension,
drug dependence ,
infectious disease,
jaundice.
First of all please take complete history of illness , if any.
Sudden loss of appetite may be due to depression and drugs.
Consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion.
If no any psychological reason than consult a physician and get his opinion.
