Are Xoclave, Muclolite Drops Prescribed For A Baby Having Throat Congestion, The Right Treatment?

Hello Doctor, My kid (6 months old) having Child having throat congestion, vomiting phlegm. Doctor recommended Xoclave ~ 228.5 twice a day - 10ml and Muclolite drops (1 ml) trice a day. Can you review & please recommend are these good for a 6 months baby ? Regards, Pavani

Thanks for the question. You can continue xoclave. And try t minic or maxtra drops instead of mucolite. Put eucalyptus oil on baby sheets but not on skin as vapours help to reduce throat and nose congestion. Only few medications can be used in these babies.
Always look if baby is feeding well and having no heavy breathing. Whenever occurs then you have to immediately consult.
