Are A Cluster Of Red Lumps On The Right Shin Symptoms Of Cellulitis?
my daughter has a 3-4 in lump on her right shin that is red and very warm to the touch. now she has small swelling on the inside of her ankle. She had strep throat twice this summer and i was thinking the infection is in her leg now. COuld this be cellulitus? i was looking on line. We went to an orthopaedic clinic and xrays showed nothing so had an MRI and waiting to hear the findings (this was on Friday)

It could be a superficial skin infection or cellulitis only if the lesion is painful.
If it is painful than need to be drained and antibiotic course prescribed.
So kindly provide history whether it is painful or painless. Kindly mention the duration of your symptoms as well.
