Are Abdominal Bloating And Constipation After A Colonoscopy A Matter Of Concern?
I had a colonoscopy 4 days ago. It procedure started out as a normal exam , during the exam I was stopped by it was discover I had some type of curvage so I had to get the rest of the exam done in radiology as a virtual colonoscopy. Sense the exam I am very gassy , stomach is rumbling very loud, have not had a bowel movement, should I be concerned

Abdominal bloating and constipation are quite common after colonoscopy. Some people even develop loose stools after colonoscopy. Nothing much to worry and it will resolve in couple of days even with out treatment. As of now you can take laxatives like Lactulose and antacids like Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
