Are Amoxicillin, Deriphyllin And Betnesol Injection Safe To Me?

sir i ask u i m suffering from cold and cough and i m taking demoxcin , montral,erophylline for 3 dAys and they given mi a rest but while on climb the stairs i feel breathless ness so amoxcillin , derphyllin and betnisol injection is safe to mi or not

Hi,

You can take Amoxicillin, Deriphylline and steroid injections for breathlessness. You have not mentioned if you have a known history of bronchial asthma. A single drug course as mentioned above is not harmful to you. Long term steroid injections can have side effects and hence should be cautiously used. Single episode of Respiratory tract infection will be relieved with the above drugs.

Kindly rule out any chronic lung infections if the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks. Chest X-ray or Ct may be required to identify the cause.
