Are Cold Sweats And Pain A Cause Of Concern During Pregnancy?

I am 21 weeks pregnant with a history of kideny stones and have recently learned I have gestational diabetes. I am not feeling well today. I have a fever of 101.3 and a blood glucose level of 166. I am also experiencing severe cold sweats and severe pain in my right side. I have an obgyn appointment tomorrow. Should I go to the er?

Hello,
Thanks for asking question. As you have the history of kidney stones and with diabetes, I would advise you to go for urine routine and micro examination, because chances of urinary tract infection are more in your case. pain is also there, which might be due to changing the position of stone in the urinary tract.
So drink plenty of water and control your diabetes well. you can consult a physician after doing some investigations, e.g. CBC, RBS, Urine routine and micro. You can get back to me after having these investigations, so i can guide you further.
