Are Constant Pins And Needles Sensation In Feet Relate To Deep Vein Thrombosis ?

Ive recently had surgery and was told to look out for symptoms of deep vein thrombosis. I constantly get pins an dneedles in my feet anyway but now its made me pay more intention. On inspection my feet are very pail and have thin blue and purple veins running through them. It also feels like someone is kind of squirting blood through my left foot instead of flowing and I can feel it pulsing. Sorry a lot of info but I don't want to go to a&e if its nothing and my gp wont see me for 4 days!

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The constant pins and needles sensations can be due to a nerve root compression or a nutritional deficiency. This is not related to DVT.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
