Are Dark Spots In Tongue A Side Effect Of Pneumonia Shots?

I have three dark (black spots on my tongue) Light Gray spots on my gums, internal cheeks and roof of my mouth.My throat is sore and I have a constant cough. I had a pnemonia shot two weeks ago- could these symptoms mean - I m allergic to something in the shot?

Hi,

Pneumonia shot is an active immunizing agent used to prevent infection by pneumococcal bacteria. It works by causing your body to produce its own protection that is antibodies against the disease. Unless otherwise contraindicated, immunization against pneumococcal disease is recommended for all adults and children who are 2 years of age and older, and especially with chronic diseases. Side effects of pneumonia are cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, bleeding gums, spots on skin, large hive like swelling on the face, lips, tongue or throat, puffiness or swelling of face, lips or tongue, unusual bruising on skin, a symptoms of allergic reactions including itching, rash, swelling of tongue, lips or throat, trouble breathing, dizziness etc. In case of side effects, consult your doctor.
