I m 37 5 5 175lbs with no prior medical issues, I was told last night I have copd. was put on serveral medications, then today the doc comes in listens to my lungs in the front all way up at the coller bone. then says he hear s nothing and sends me home. I been home 6 hrs and my breathing is serveraly limited again. and repeative couphing, and pains in chest when coughing and headaces. should I return to er or will it be a waist as they seem to want to just release me not help treat problem.
No, not COPD but you may have pneumonia and I would get a chest x-ray to check for that. Alternatively, this could be a GERD problem--gastric reflux disorder--and if the chest x-ray were clear I'd have you take Zantac daily for two weeks
