Are Headaches, Nausea And Loss Of Appetite Due To HIV?
Is it possible to test negative for HIV if you are in late stage HIV/aids? I have several symptoms (Headache. weakness in arms and legs, nausea,no appetite, etc), an abnormal MRI, elevated protein in my CSF and Issues with my vision. Lyme and MS tests were both negative. My Neuro is sending me to another Neuro for review. I ve been feeling very sick for several months with no DX. So frustrated. Please help!
It is very unlikely that you will be negative in late stages of HIV/AIDS. Based on the symptoms that you have given, it seems that you have some sort of immune disorder. There is also a possibility that you have other diseases which weaken the immune system.
I think that you need to get your White blood Cell counts checked. Once the counts confirm the cause, then you can try to find out the cause exactly. Please send me the reports so that I can help you better. Follow up once you have the results. All the best.
Hope this helps you. Dr Vignan
