Yes! My mother is coming to visit this weekend, and my daughter & I want to be sure we cook the right foods for her diabetes as well as her being on Coumadin. I see that she s not supposed to have green leafy veggies, etc, so am I understanding that we should stay with things like carrots, red bell peppers, onion, etc? Is zucchini and squash okay too? We thought grilled chicken or a pork tenderloin would be a good protein choice ( as I myself have fibro and avoid inflammatory foods like beef with a vengeance) Also wanted to introduce her to Rooibos tea, but see that chamomile is bad for her...are all herbal teas that way, or just chamomile? Thanks for your guidance!
