Are Leg Cramps And Restlessness Side Effects Of Pravastatin And HCTZ?
I currently take Pravastatin as well as HCTZ and Lisinopril nightly. For about two months I ve had leg cramping and restlessness about two-three hours after taking the meds and going to bed. Is this a side effect of the medicine and if so, can I simply stop taking the Pravastatin suddenly or do I need to wean myself off it gradually like one does w/anti-depressant medications?

Hello.Leg cramps is common adverse effect of hctz by decreasing of potassium levels.Pravastatin usually cause muscle pain.Restlessness is probably a result of pain and cramps.Go to your doctor for advice about decrease in dose of these drugs.I wish you good health.
